I Moved to Austin! Vol. 1
Welcome all to the very first edition of my semi-annual newsletter!
I wanted to start this as a way to connect with all of the wonderful people that I meet along my life’s journey and keep you all in the loop with what’s going on. I will only send one of these out every 6 months, so do not fear, I won’t be flooding your inbox with life updates.
The biggest update is that I’ve moved to Austin!!
Since moving here in February, I have started teaching dance at Ballet Austin, had my first stunt double role in a horror short, signed with an agent, dropped said agent, filmed two commercials, attended SXSW, two-stepped in a feature film, and will soon start working with the costume departments of Ballet Austin, Austin Opera, and The Long Center, as well as performing regular live music gigs with my band.
Work experiences outside of Austin have included being a stitcher on a cruise ship, and a stitcher/dresser on the Wicked National Tour.
Dance dance dance!
This is a little video taken at the end of a Musical Theatre Jazz class a few weeks ago. It always feels so good to return to my roots and take a class like this.
I have also started teaching class at Ballet Austin! My experience teaching has been more rewarding than I could’ve ever imagined. I am currently teaching two Jazz classes and one Tap class to beginner adult dancers. Watching dancers who have never taken a class before show up, learn something new, get a little frustrated at first, and then come back the next week and nail it has been a truly beautiful process to witness. Each week I see more and more confidence blossom in each of them, and I am so lucky to get to be a part of that.
Taken after teaching my first tap class!
Playing live music has also been huge for me in these recent months!! I linked my reel to give a little taste of what we do while performing classic country, rock, and folk music all around Texas! I have loved how much I get to interact with the audience during my shows - it is such a different feeling than performing in a play or musical.
“You are enough, you are so enough, it is unbelievable how enough you are”
Thank you for joining the newsletter! I would love to know what each and every one of you are up to, and if there is any way that I help you on your journey please be in touch!

New Headshot!
Still from my screen test for Dweller where I play the Doppelgänger, an evil other-wordly spirit. We are hoping for this to premier at Austin Film Festival this year and I can’t wait to share the final short. The entire cast and crew were an absolute delight to work with, and I not only had a wonderful experience, but made some fabulous new friends!

Looking for a team!
Up next I am looking for representation in various markets in the U.S and internationally! I will be starting a four month travel extravaganza soon through Europe, the UK, and South America. In addition to exploring and sightseeing, I will be meeting with agents and managers in various countries. I will also be auditioning around the world - I have heard the process is different than it is in the States, so I am looking forward to discovering what that is. I would love to hear more about working abroad - if you have insight or know anyone I should meet while I’m over there let me know!
During this time I will also be working on some original music, and creating more content for social media, so be on the lookout for that!

I had the pleasure of attending my first SXSW right after moving to Austin. The timing was impeccable! I volunteered for my badge and used every free second that I had to attend events and meet such cool people - some of which are being sent this newsletter!
First time seeing my face on a building this past week! This campaign is in Houston, TX.
Exploring! The Travel for Work Column
My work has also taken me to new parts of Texas that I had never seen before, like Corpus Christi! This shoot was for Reeds Jewelers and shot on location in Corpus. I had the best time getting to go to the beach before work that morning - I love taking every opportunity to make a work trip feel like a mini vacation. This project will be on TV in the Southeast for the next two years!
I also had the pleasure of working my very first cruise contract! This one was a 3 week install with RWS Entertainment for MSC, where me and a team of five other stitchers altered the ship’s current costumes to fit the new cast members. This was a huge feat, with over 250 costumes across 6 shows. It was definitely a unique experience as I had never sewn under sea level before. This contract took me to Cozumel & Costa Maya, Mexico, and Roatan, Honduras!
I had the absolute HONOR of being a dresser and stitcher for Wicked!!!! This was such a DREAM! These costumes and this show are so magnificent and truly the gold standard for theatrical costuming. It is wild to think that my work and repairs on those costumes are being seen and performed in night after night in arguably the biggest musical in the world. Pinch me!! So excited for the day I return to Oz.
